frX Basic
Offering convenient desktop functionality that many customers prefer, frX Basic is a complete EHL tool, considering line contact, point contact, surface roughness, thermal models, and non-Newtonian lubricants. Analysis results include: surface roughness metrics, dry contact pressure, subsurface stresses, EHL fluid pressure, film thickness, flash temperature, and friction shear.
frX Basic Plus

frX Cylindrical Gear
frX Cylindrical Gear offers the Basic features applied to cylindrical gears, with an integrated load sharing solution. A very detailed mapping of the various performance results along the tooth surface provide graphics for advanced visualization. This solution is intended for those clients who may not have access to cylindrical gear contact software from other sources, offering an inexpensive way to understand fundamental flank contact behaviors.
