ABOUT

Advanced Drivetrain Engineering and Technology, or more commonly known as ADET, began in 2015 as a small consulting firm with the vision of offering advanced technical solutions addressing the gaps in drivetrain engineering. As ADET's journey has progressed with our network of experts, the need for more efficient drivetrains has never been more critical. frX Tribology Suite brings to market a fast-solving tribological solution, for developing a fundamental understanding of the sources of friction in gears, bearings, and other surfaces in contact. From aerospace and agriculture, to robotics and the electrification of ground and air transportation, controlling friction, even by the smallest amount, will have an enormous impact on the health of our environment.

Additional ADET products include Hypoid-QOS, a cloud-based solution for assisting manufacturing teams with tracking hypoid gear quality based on advanced contact mechanics. Simply upload basic flank inspection data, and we do the rest.

Working with our partner Drivetrain Hub, we also offer Consultant Match services for finding that perfect resource to solve your next drivetrain engineering challenge.

We look forward to continuing the expansion of our product line, meeting the unique needs of the drivetrain engineering community. Let us know your greatest drivetrain design or manufacturing challenges - we may have an app for that in the works.

Dr. Morteza Najjari
Xtrapid Innovations, Inc.
Founder and Principal

Dr. Najjari, Founder and Principal of Xtrapid Innovations, Inc., has a PhD in computational tribology. His research domain includes contact mechanics, elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication (EHL), friction behavior and rolling contact fatigue. He has more than twenty years experience in automotive, wind energy and aerospace industry. He developed a numerical model for mixed-EHL simulations in conformal and non-conformal contacts. He also created a tool for load sharing analysis in spur and helical gear sets. These simulation tools can be used to evaluate efficiency in bearings and gears. He recently added a numerical analysis code for drag torque estimation in wet clutches. He currently works on making these software tools commercially available and supporting clients with advanced tribology simulation services.
